To make a visit more enjoyable the following facilities are available for your convenience:
More car parking for those with disabilities
Lay by drop off point on Springfield Way with automatic door entrance
Ramps to access the centre from the main car park, with automatic door entrance
Easy access to Anlaby Library and Customer Service Centre, all in the one building
Improved swimming pool access with a wide stairway and a new pool hoist
Movable swimming pool floor, we can now have two shallow ends of the pool so swimmers can spread out
New and improved cafe now offering assisted service
Specific toilet facilities (Changing Places)
Dedicated changing/shower rooms with hoist available
Lift access to the first floor
The Tone Zone has a wheelchair stair lift to allow access to fitness equipment
The ERYDSA Haltemprice Dolphins is one of the biggest clubs for disabled people in the area.
Thursday evenings from 7.30pm until 9pm.
This swimming club has been operating for over 30 years and has grown to be a great social club for people of all ages and disabilities.
The club has exclusive use of the pool which is staffed by qualified lifeguards.
A small annual fee is payable and a small weekly contribution is charged at each meeting (helpers do not pay weekly contribution).
How to attend
To attend the club, all you need to do is fill in a membership form* available from David Green on 07731 741465.
Wheelchair access is available to the pool, assistance is and out of the pool is available if required.
*Help is available in completing the forms if required.
The Aspire Sports Club offers multi-sport activities for children and young people aged between 5 - 18 years who have a disability and are keen to participate in sports activities (we request that parent/guardian stay to help supervise). Siblings and friends are welcome to come and join in. Fully qualified, trained coaches and volunteers are on hand to support your child to enjoy their club.
Saturdays 9.15am – 10.45am
£2.40 per child.

Maxi Fun Club is a parent led, non-profit community group who organise and subsidise leisure activities e.g. bowling, exclusive swimming, soft play and bouncy castle sessions for disabled children and young people (aged 0-25 depends on activity) and their families living in the Hull or East Riding area. Parents/carers are required to stay while their child participates in activities or are encouraged to join in as well to assist them if necessary. Siblings are welcome to participate.
