Swimming classes

From babes in arms to Rookie junior, East Riding Leisure Haltemprice has a swimming programme for children of all ages and stages.

Aqua babes/tots 4 months – 3 years

Parent and baby/toddler instructor led 30 minute sessions. Swimming lessons are fun, improve water confidence and brain development, the lessons include activities such as submersion, propulsion, flotation, water confidence and introducing independent swimming.

Cost

£28 for 7 weeks (no class during half term)

Pre-School Children 

Improving water confidence, promote independence swimming and basic swimming strokes front and back.

Aged 3+ (max of 6 children per 30 minute class)

  • Saturday 8.30 – 10.30am

  • Monday, Wednesday and Friday 1.30 – 3pm

Rookie Lifeguard Programme

A junior award scheme of the RLSS UK. 8+ (must be able to swim 200 metres) Grade 5. 

The Rookie skills make Rookies aware of how to take better care of themselves, and others arming them with information they need to promote water safety. The awards contain survival, rescue and sports skills.

Cost

£46 - 10 week course.
