Two-Day re-qualification course. The HSE strongly recommends that all First Aiders attend an annual refresher programme of a minimum three hours duration.

All students will be assessed by independent assessors on their ability to act safely, promptly and effectively for a casualtywho is unresponsive, requires CPR and who is wounded and bleeding.

We are able to deliver this course on your site, subject to a pre-course assessment of your premises, reducing your costs in respect of additional time out and travelling.
If you only have a small number that need training, then have a look at our course finder facility which may offer you a local course that you can join.

Age Limit

Students must be a minimum of 14 years of age and a full HSE approved qualification can be offered to all, subject to assessment.

A student cannot claim the official title of First Aider in the workplace until they reach the age of 16, and then it is the employer’s responsibility to ensure that the student is suitable for that role.
