Four family changing cubicles and baby changing facilities are available in our pool changing room.
Parking
There is a Pay and Display car park available at this leisure centre. Car park charges apply between 8am and 6pm, Monday - Saturday. There are 268 spaces, including 17 disabled bays and 6 electric vehicle charging points.
Up to 4 hours free parking for leisure centre users
Leisure centre users and visitors can claim 4 hours free parking by selecting the 'free' option on the ticket machine. Just display the main half in your car windscreen and take the smaller voucher to the reception inside the leisure centre. There will be a box labelled 'parking tickets' you can put it into.
Parking over 4 hours?
If you wish to stay longer than 4 hours, you can still claim 4 hours free if you are using the centre, but you will need to pay for any extra hours by following the instructions at the ticket machine.
Parking for blue badge holders
There are five disabled parking bays adjacent to the main entrance, four additional parking bays in the rear car park near the pool hall and five disabled parking bays in the front car park near the changing pavilion. Customers using these bays must obtain a parking ticket from the pay and display machine unless you have a Virtual parking permit. The left-half (main part) of the ticket to be displayed on the vehicle windscreen and take the right-half of the ticket to Reception. Please ensure you display your blue badge.
Location accessibility
At East Riding Leisure we pride ourselves in providing a top class leisure experience to all, both online and in person. With this in mind we have various facilities and services in place for users with disabilities, to ensure they receive the same level of enjoyment from our facilities as everybody else.
If you feel that you will need assistance on your visit to the leisure centre, we will only be too happy to help. You can contact Reception prior to your visit to make arrangements for someone to meet you on arrival.
We want to make our services accessible to everyone and we understand that English is not everyone's first language. So we try to provide a range of interpreting and translation facilities to meet your needs. Leaflets, on request, will be provided in alternative formats, including Braille, audio or large print format, please ask at Reception.
Main entrance and reception
There is level access with automatic opening doors leading into reception, the reception desk is low level.
Changing Places Toilet
Located opposite the viewing window for the small pool we have a changing places toilet facility. The toilet has space either side for a carer, an adult sized height adjustable bench, movable hoist, and screen for privacy.
Pool Access
There is a pool hoist to assist users in wheelchairs access the main pool, please ask at Reception. The main pool and learner pool are deck level pools.
Assistance dogs
Assistance dogs are welcome; please notify Reception prior to arrival where possible. A dog drinking station is available on request.
Hearing Loop
Hearing induction loops are available at Reception and in our main conference room.
