Visiting with children
Four family changing cubicles and baby changing facilities are available in our pool changing room.
Parking
There is currently no charge for parking at East Riding Leisure Driffield. The car park is situated adjacent to the leisure centre. There are marked bays for people with disabilities and additionally a short term drop off facility.
A new state-of-the-art solar carport has been installed at East Riding Leisure Driffield, reducing the centre’s electricity bills by £20,000 a year! The European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) supplied 50% of the funding to allow the installation.
Overflow Car park
During the hours that the neighbouring school is closed (usually after 4pm on weekdays and during school holidays) there is an overflow car park behind the centre in the school grounds.
Please check the opening times for when the overflow car park is available to use.
Parking for blue badge holders
There are six disabled parking bays adjacent to the main entrance, please ensure you display your blue badge.
Location accessibility
At East Riding Leisure we pride ourselves in providing a top class leisure experience to all, both online and in person. With this in mind we have various facilities and services in place for users with disabilities, to ensure they receive the same level of enjoyment from our facilities as everybody else.
If you feel that you will need assistance on your visit to the leisure centre, we will only be too happy to help. You can contact Reception prior to your visit to make arrangements for someone to meet you on arrival.
We want to make our services accessible to everyone and we understand that English is not everyone's first language. So we try to provide a range of interpreting and translation facilities to meet your needs. Leaflets, on request, will be provided in alternative formats, including Braille, audio or large print format, please ask at Reception.
Main entrance and reception
There is level access with automatic opening doors leading into reception, the reception desk is low level.
There is a lift to the first floor located in Reception.
Changing Places Toilet
Located next to poolside we have a changing places toilet facility. The toilet has space either side for a carer, an adult sized height adjustable bench, movable hoist, and screen for privacy.
Pool Access
There is a pool hoist with separate wheelchairs to assist users in wheelchairs access the main pool, please ask at Reception.
The pool viewing balcony is accessible from the first floor. There is a lift to the first floor located in Reception.
Assistance dogs
Assistance dogs are welcome; please notify Reception prior to arrival where possible. A dog drinking station is available on request.
Hearing Loop
Hearing induction loops are available at Reception.
