Visiting with children
There are seven dedicated family changing cubicles and baby changing facilities available in our pool changing room. Safe storage for pushchairs is also available for customers using our pools, please ask at Reception for assistance.
Parking
We have parking off the main entrance to the Hornsea Hub, with parking for:
- motorcycles
- cars
- dedicated disabled parking spaces
- charging stations for electric vehicles.
Parking for blue badge holders
There are five disabled parking bays adjacent to the main entrance. Customers using these bays must obtain a parking ticket from the pay and display machine unless you have a Virtual parking permit. Please ensure you display your blue badge.
Location accessibility
At East Riding Leisure we pride ourselves in providing a top class leisure experience to all, both online and in person. With this in mind we have various facilities and services in place for users with disabilities, to ensure they receive the same level of enjoyment from our facilities as everybody else.
If you feel that you will need assistance on your visit to the leisure centre, we will only be too happy to help. You can contact Reception prior to your visit to make arrangements for someone to meet you on arrival.
We want to make our services accessible to everyone and we understand that English is not everyone's first language. So we try to provide a range of interpreting and translation facilities to meet your needs. Leaflets, on request, will be provided in alternative formats, including Braille, audio or large print format, please ask at Reception.
Main entrance and reception
There is level access with automatic opening doors leading into reception. There is also a second entrance from the main promenade leading into the cafeteria. The reception desk is low level.
Changing Places Toilet
Located in the main entrance area we have a changing places toilet facility. The toilet has space either side for a carer, an adult sized height adjustable bench, movable hoist, and screen for privacy.
Pool Access
There is a sloped ramp for wheelchairs leading into the learner pool which is connected to the main pool. Separate wheelchairs are available to assist users access the learner pool, please ask at Reception. The main pool and learner pool are deck level pools.
Assistance dogs
Assistance dogs are welcome; please notify Reception prior to arrival where possible. A dog drinking station is available on request.
Hearing Loop
Hearing induction loops are available at Reception, Library, and in our conference meeting rooms.
